Centroid of a Triangle Calculator
A centroid is the point where the mediums of a triangle meet. This is the point at which the whole mass of a triangle plate appears to work. The center of a triangle is also known as the center of gravity, the center of gravity, or the center of rotation.
A median is a line that connects the vertex of a triangle to the midpoint of the opposite direction. The point through which the three mediums of a triangle pass is called the centroid of the triangle and it divides each median in a ratio of 2: 1.
Find the Centroid of a triangle with vertices (1,2) (3,4) and (5,0) Centroid of triangle = [( x1 + x2 + x3)/3, (y1 + y2 + y3)/3] = [ (1 + 3 + 5) / 3 , (2 + 4 + 0) / 3 ] = (9/3 , 6/3) = (3,2)
